  • Fei remarks that Elly has been taken away, the party was left alive because he promised, but there must clearly be another reason.
  • Krelian kills the Gazel Ministry, as they've outlived their usefulness. Krelian treats them with distain, describing them as terminal interfaces for a weapon of invasion and oppression, and that he is following the will of the "Other Mother".

  • Fei mopes about his failure to protect Elly.
  • Wiseman appears and asks what he's doing, Fei states that he stood no chance against Alpha Weltall and Grahf. Wiseman states that Fei is unfocused and that it's his turn now to save her.
  • The party begins their search for where Elly was taken to. Two weeks later, Merkava - God's Ark - was discovered in a nearly-complete state, repaired from its state from 500 years ago.
  • Assaulting Merkava, Fei meets and declares an alliance with the Elements who are on their way to save Ramsus.

  • After the battle, Ramsus bursts through the wall and reveals the lab where he was created (this implies that this part of the facility has existed for decades but was perhaps underground, the surface of Merkhabah is shown to be visible on the surface).
  • Past the lab, Deus sleeps in his cocoon, and Elly is crucified, Miang and Krelian awaiting the party's arrival.

Where, why

  • Merkava dungeon. It is shown to be much bigger in the cutscene, with many more screens before the part where the player descends down the angel room.
  • Overworld exploration. Flying to Merkava.

Why not

  • Creating a Merkava model is, admittedly not a lot of, work.
  • Expanding the dungeon might make it less interesting because it is already reused in Deus.
